Jennifer Williams joins Provision Analytics

Williams brings over 25 years of experience in food safety leadership.

Provision Analytics, a fast-growing leader in cloud-based food safety and risk management software, announces the addition of Jennifer Williams to its strategic advisory group.

Williams, former head of food safety at Tyson Foods, brings over 25 years of experience in food safety leadership, risk scoring and data analytics. At Tyson, the largest meat company in the U.S., she oversaw dozens of plant and lab sites and pioneered industry-first risk analytics initiatives. She now leads JW Consulting, advising global food operations on quality systems and compliance.

“Jennifer has pioneered food safety and quality management systems at scale,” said Erik Westblom, co-founder & CEO at Provision Analytics. “Her experience is invaluable as we transfer best-in-class practices from the meat sector to a wider range of food operators.”

Provision’s strategic advisory group, launched in 2024 under the leadership of Dr. Jennifer McEntire, ensures the company’s platform evolves with regulatory changes, buyer demands and industry realities. With Williams joining an already impressive team—including Joan Rosen, Sharon Beals, Donna Lynn Browne, and Courtney Cox—the group is positioned to further elevate the accessibility and impact of smart food safety systems.

“I joined Provision because it’s a platform operators actually want to use,” said Williams. “That means food safety leaders can stop chasing tasks and start focusing on improvement through real-time, data-driven insights.”

Williams’ deep knowledge across both FDA- and FSIS-regulated industries will help Provision better serve clients navigating today's evolving food safety landscape
