Starting in April 2021, Quality Technology International (QTI) will roll out new series of animal health products to aid antibiotic free and organic producers raise healthier poultry and livestock. This new probiotic line, labeled Q-Biotic was designed using QTI’s proprietary research and testing lab. Q-Biotic products have been tested by numerous independent research centers across the U.S., specializing in animal productivity, health, welfare and food safety.
The new Q-Biotic line of products consists of proprietary direct fed microbial strains alone or in combination. The specialized bacteria strains were selected through numerous research studies for their ability to improve animal health, performance and food safety. The organisms were evaluated for various attributes including shelf life, digestive stability, thermo-tolerance as well as benefits to animal performance and health. Research work has demonstrated the combination products improve gut microbial balance and enhance the integrity of the gastrointestinal system.
QTI also used its expertise in disease and immunology research to create combinations of its prebiotic product with the Q-Biotic bacteria strains, which are called BacPack Q1+1 and BacPack Q3+1. QTI’s research created this series of products for producers who need an extra line of defense for environmental challenges and food safety challenges. QTI expects to launch the new products in spring 2021.
