Kristin Bonham named the new regional vice president for DSM.

Bonham brings more than 25 years category experience, sales leadership and strong relationship-building skills

Kristin Bonham has been named the new regional vice president for DSM Animal Nutrition and Health in North America.  She succeeds Eduardo Alberto, who became vice president DSM Animal Nutrition and Health Innovation August 1.

Kristin comes to DSM from Bayer Crop Science (formerly Monsanto) where she spent more than 25 years, most recently as North American sales enablement and commercial development lead at Bayer Crop Science. She has also served in multiple roles in animal and crop sciences in key operations, sales and account management, and was the director of the southern U.S. sales organization at Bayer.

“Kristin’s deep category experience and proven track record in establishing strong customer relationships are an exciting addition to the DSM team,” according to Ivo Lansbergen, president, DSM Animal Nutrition and Health. “She’s also a results-driven, focused leader who aligns with the challenges facing the agriculture industry and DSM’s commitment to tangible and actionable solutions that cater to the customers we care about most: people and the planet.”

“Throughout my career, I’ve worked to build strong and deep customer relationships in the animal agriculture, biotechnology and crop science industries,” said Kristin. “I plan to bring those experiences to DSM to further strengthen the partnership we have with our customers in our effort to bring the highest quality ingredients to their operations. Growing up on a farm and having my family still in the business gives me a big heart for agriculture. I see it as my responsibility to continue to serve the industry to the best of my ability. The work at DSM is critical to meeting the needs of a growing population sustainably and responsibly.”
