Kristin Plager has been named Vita Plus Lanark customer service associate. Based in Lanark, Ill., Plager will work with customers to fulfill their feed orders and grain accounting needs. She will also work with the production team to prepare formulas and product tags, and ensure timely production and delivery of feeds.
Plager grew up on a dairy farm outside of Pearl City, Ill., and was active in 4-H and FFA activities. In 2012, she graduated from Elmhurst College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business with a minor in Spanish. After college, she worked as the member services coordinator at the Freeport Country Club and as a customer service sales associate at The Red Barn in Lena. This past summer, Plager coordinated the Pearl City Pitmasters event at the Pearl City Homecoming. The event raised funds for the Conservation & Agricultural Partners Foundation, a coalition of local organizations committed to educating children about agriculture.
