Moldova, Ukraine agree on poultry meat, feed standards

The two eastern European countries have reached agreements that will restore trade between them, and align standards in the Republic of Moldova with those of the European Union (EU).

During a meeting held in Ukraine last week, representatives from that country and Moldova discussed measures that will facilitate the restoration of trade in animal feed, poultry meat and poultry meat products between the two nations.

Imports of Ukrainian products to Moldova are set to resume under conditions of new higher sanitary and veterinary guarantees, reports the Moldovan food safety agency, ANSA.
