Despite these challenges, feed manufacturers remain upbeat about short- and middle-term prospects.
In the coming years, Europe will see the center of gravity in the livestock and feed industries gradually shifting east, reports the press office of the UBM Group, Hungary's largest feed manufacturer. The company is a prominent market player in the feed market of Eastern Europe, running six feed mills in Hungary, Slovakia and Romania.
