Atria continues to strengthen its core business in line with its TOGETHER 2030 strategy, which emphasizes growth and the development of its core meat operations.

In Estonia, Atria is taking the next step by investing in a new pig fattening farm in Viljandi County. The investment, valued at approximately EUR4 million (US$4.6 million). The project has also received investment support of approximately EUR1.5 million.

The new Alliku farm will provide modern facilities for pig farming, with space for approximately 7,100 animals. Construction is planned to begin during the second half of the year.

For Atria, the investment is about strengthening efficient and responsible food production for the future. The new farm will increase production capacity, improve biosecurity and support the efficiency of Atria Group’s integrated food chain.

“With this investment, we are developing our farming in a way that supports responsible, long-term production and Atria’s growth,” said Meelis Laande, managing director of Atria Estonia.
