Simmons Animal Nutrition has named Tracy Tedder as the senior vice president of operations. Tedder has more than three decades of experience as a leader in the poultry industry, across live production, multi‑plant operations, safety and international operations, including more than 30 years with Tyson Foods. He most recently led a team of more than 7,000 team members at Georges Inc. as senior vice president of operations and live.

“Tracy brings a wealth of industry experience and a strong people‑first leadership approach to Simmons Animal Nutrition,” said Derek Baucum, president of Simmons Animal Nutrition. “His ability to build teams, improve performance and mentor leaders will be an important asset as we continue to grow and invest in our people.”
Tedder began his career at Tyson Foods, where he grew into leadership roles across plant management, operations and executive oversight of safety and international poultry operations in China and India. Throughout his career, he has led startup and expansion initiatives and improved operational efficiency and safety performance. Tedder holds an associate's degree in meat science from Eastern Oklahoma State College.
