Perstorp Group Executive Vice President Aart Mateboer has announced his plans to retire, effective June 1.

“Aart Mateboer has been leading the Perstorp Animal Nutrition team with dedication and has built his team based on confidence and empowerment,” said Ib Jensen, president and CEO of Perstorp Group. “When he retires on May 31, it marks the conclusion of an intense and successful chapter in his career. His decision to retire fully reflects personal aspirations and goals, and I would like to extend my warm gratitude for his invaluable contributions.”

Jensen said the search for Mateboer’s successor has begun and the company intends to “conduct a seamless leadership transition and continuously deliver on its ambitious growth plan.”

Mateboer was named to lead the animal nutrition business in July 2021. Previously, he was vice president animal nutrition at IFF – International Flavors & Fragrances, and has held several senior positions in companies such as Akzo Nobel, Cargill and Danisco.

Mateboer holds a master’s degree in organic chemistry from the Free University in Amsterdam.
