As USDA gets back on track, corn and soybean prices set to tick upward

Although U.S. production numbers are not yet up to date, strong global demand continues to erode corn and soybean supplies.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is still tallying 2025 harvest numbers after the U.S. government shutdown that began in October, but StoneX Chief Commodities Economist Alan Suderman suspects corn and soybean prices have long since hit their low point for the year.
