Buhler Group says its Ecothermatik dryer uses smaller volumes of wetter air so that the product's moisture drops more slowly, avoiding tensions and reducing stabilization time. The product's color can be changed by adjusting the settings of the stabilizer, and fully automated controls allow for replication of process conditions and rapid shape-change operations. A heat exchanger allows the dryer to recycle its energy back into the process, reducing kilowatt-hours by 40 percent, according to the company.
