De Heus has begun work on a new production plant in Vietnam’s Dong Nai province in order to double the company’s production in Vietnam and expand its market presence.
The project includes a state-of-the-art feedmill with a capacity of 300,000 metric tons of pig, poultry and cattle feed per year. The latest in a series of upgrades and expansions that began in 2009, the plant is slated for completion in February 2012.
