
World Dairy Expo (WDE) will be held September 29 through October 2 in Madison, Wisconsin.
World Dairy Expo’s award-winning trade show is an opportunity for producers to see cutting-edge technology and the latest dairy equipment. As the global dairy industry meets in Madison, leading researchers, technical experts and national sales representatives from around the world can be found at WDE.
Educational opportunities
With more than 40 seminars, sessions and industry-hosted events scheduled throughout the week, World Dairy Expo is the place to learn about a variety of things happening in the global dairy industry. Visit with peers while learning from fellow producers and industry experts about different ways to make your operation more profitable.
Hosted Tuesday through Friday in tandem with Expo’s Trade Show, all educational events are included with gate admission, unless stated otherwise.
- Expo en Español: Expo’s newest educational opportunity, Expo en Español, offers seminars presented in Spanish for dairy managers and mid-managers. Expo en Español is designed to provide valuable information for on-farm personnel.
- The Knowledge Nook: The Knowledge Nook is a space designed for companies to showcase an innovative product, service or research that was introduced since the last World Dairy Expo.
- Virtual farm tours: World Dairy Expo offers virtual farm tours presented by dairy owners and managers from near and far. Each tour offers a unique, virtual perspective and an opportunity to learn directly from other producers.
- Dairy forage seminars: Dairy forage seminars are hosted by the organizing partners of the World Forage Analysis Superbowl in the Trade Center. Forage experts from the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center, University of Wisconsin and other research centers work together to present seminars on cutting-edge research and information.
Dairy cattle show
World Dairy Expo is home to a world-class dairy cattle show that features the best cattle in North America. Known for its iconic colored shavings and elegant Showring display, Expo’s Dairy Cattle Show had 1,829 owners exhibiting 2,625 head of cattle from 37 U.S. states and seven Canadian Provinces in 2025. Breed shows will be held Sunday through Friday.
