Wenger Manufacturing announces death of company patriarch

The inventor of 44 U.S. patents, LaVon Wenger, 89, passed on December 29 and was the son of Lou Wenger, one of the company’s original founders.

LaVon Wenger began his career at Wenger in 1955 and was named president of the company in 1977.
