QualiTech has named Samantha Shirk marketing manager, strengthening the company’s commitment to customer success and strategic growth across the animal nutrition industry.
Shirk brings more than seven years of experience in agriculture, animal health, integrated marketing and event management. In her new role, she will collaborate with QualiTech’s sales, technical and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities, develop customer-focused resources and communicate the value of the company’s products, expertise and solutions.
“Samantha’s experience and understanding of the agriculture and poultry industries make her a tremendous addition to our team,” said Randy Anderson, director of sales at QualiTech. “Her ability to connect marketing strategy with customer needs and sales objectives will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow.”
“I’m excited to join QualiTech and continue building relationships across animal agriculture, an industry I’ve enjoyed being part of throughout my career,” said Shirk. “I look forward to working with our customers and internal teams across species and markets to understand their needs and create marketing programs that bring meaningful value to their businesses.”
Before joining QualiTech, Shirk held marketing roles with Best Veterinary Solutions and Hy-Line International. Her experience includes developing integrated marketing campaigns, product and technical communications, customer engagement programs, and sales resources for the poultry and animal health industries. She also managed industry events and global training programs while supporting customer, distributor and partner relationships across domestic and international markets.
Shirk’s connection to agriculture extends beyond her professional experience. Raised on a Pennsylvania farm, she gained firsthand knowledge of agricultural production and farm operations, as well as hands-on poultry production experience.
Shirk earned a Bachelor of Science in agricultural sciences from Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences, with minors in agricultural communications, international agriculture, and poultry and avian sciences. She also earned a Fundamentals of Business Certificate from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business.
As QualiTech continues to grow, Shirk will help strengthen awareness of the company’s technologies and expertise and demonstrate how its innovative solutions can help customers address challenges, improve performance and achieve long-term success.
