Brazilian pig meat exports continue to grow

Brazil reports a 16% year-on-year expansion in global exports of pork products for the first three months of 2025.

In March, Brazil’s pig sector registered shipments of 116,300 metric tons (mt) of fresh and processed pig meat, generating revenue of US$278 million. These figures correspond to increases of 27% and 44% compared with the same period of 2024.

The data are from the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein, ABPA, and based on official figures from the national foreign trade office, Secex.
