Ivo Lansbergen, president of DSM-Firmenich’s Animal Nutrition and Health segment, says he is optimistic about the carveout of the unit to a standalone company, which was announced February 15.

Speaking at DSM-Firmenich’s Global Ruminant Days in Vienna on June 4, Lansbergen said the unit “has a lot to offer.” DSM-Firmenich Animal Nutrition and Health includes its vitamins, performance solutions, precision services and premix products, and sees approximately US$3.5 billion in revenues annually.
