AMVC seized the opportunity to improve feed efficiency by partnering with Landus to source quality, local grain for its swine feed plant.

Audubon, Iowa-based AMVC’s new 400,000-ton/year swine feed mill in Hamlin, Iowa, signifies more than a logistical solution — it’s a commitment to local sustainability, precision feed services and fortification against industry challenges. A partnership with Landus Cooperative brought a circular economy to Audubon County by siting the mill adjacent to Landus’ existing 4-million-bushel grain receiving facility that allows AMVC to utilize grain from the co-op’s farmer-owners to manufacture feed for their nearby swine operations.
