Kyle Venter, PhD, Innovation Manager, Chemuniqué Pty (Ltd)

Kyle Venter is from South Africa and has a B.Sc in Poultry Nutrition from the University of Pretoria and completing his PhD at the same university, while having a full position as the Innovation manager at Chemuniqué Pty (Ltd), in South Africa, where he is gaining valuable commercial experience in broiler nutrition and production, as well as research experience under the guidance of Dr Peter Plumstead and Dr Roselina Angel. The focus of his research is on digestible Ca, with the hope of combining existing work done at the University of Maryland to formulate to digestible Ca commercially. Kyle’s interest lies in mineral nutrition, trace mineral nutrition, amino acid research as well as feed additives.

Cibele Torres, PhD, Species Nutritionist - Technical Services - Europe, South Africa, Zinpro Corporation

Cibele Torres earned her Veterinary M.D. and M.S. in Animal Sciences from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil and her Ph.D. in Poultry Science from University of Alberta, Canada. As a poultry nutritionist, Cibele leads the Zinpro poultry research programs and field evaluations across Europe and provides technical support to Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA), South Africa and Russia.

Austin Jasek, PhD, Technical Account Manager, Zinpro Corporation

Austin Jasek, PhD, joined Zinpro Corporation in 2019 as a technical account manager, poultry. Austin’s work focuses on poultry nutrition and research across the broiler, layer, broiler breeder and turkey markets within North America. He serves on multiple graduate student committees, contributes to organizing the Arkansas Nutrition Conference, and has published multiple research articles. In 2019, Austin received his Doctor of Philosophy in Poultry Science from Texas A&M University (TAMU) with a focus on poultry nutrition. At TAMU, his research centered on the effects of feed additives on growth performance of broilers and layer performance. Austin is based in Northwest Arkansas.
