His career began after earning a degree in Agriculture and joining a large UK cooperative’s graduate program, where he acquired extensive experience in feed business operations. Ian’s journey progressed from Formulator to Formulations Manager, where he gained crucial hands-on experience. After a decade as a formulator, Ian transitioned to Format International (now Format Solutions), starting as a Support Specialist. He has since excelled in various roles, including implementation, software product design, and consultation. With over 25 years at Format Solutions (now Datacor Animal Nutrition), Ian has collaborated with a global clientele across diverse sectors such as feed, pet food, aqua, premix, and food & beverage. He is passionate about helping customers to optimizing business processes, improve ingredient purchasing strategies, and enhance product quality.
