His career began after earning a degree in Agriculture and joining a large UK cooperative’s graduate program, where he acquired extensive experience in feed business operations. Ian’s journey progressed from Formulator to Formulations Manager, where he gained crucial hands-on experience. After a decade as a formulator, Ian transitioned to Format International (now Format Solutions), starting as a Support Specialist. He has since excelled in various roles, including implementation, software product design, and consultation. With over 25 years at Format Solutions, Ian has collaborated with a global clientele across diverse sectors such as feed, pet food, aqua, premix, and food & beverage. He is passionate about helping customers to optimizing business processes, improve ingredient purchasing strategies, and enhance product quality.
