Wp Fs Webinar 400x200In animal production, making the best possible use of available feed ingredients is essential not only for maintaining healthy and well-performing animals but also to achieve economic and ecological goals. Feed ingredients differ in their quality, which needs to be reflected in their use and in feed formulation. Today, near-Evonik Sponsored By Logoinfrared technology (NIR) is a standard tool in quality control of feed ingredients and finished feeds, as it delivers reliable results with minimal effort. But how can the quality of NIR predictions be assessed? In this exclusive webinar, Dr. Markus Wiltafsky-Martin, Director of Service Commercialization for Evonik, will cover preconditions for developing reliable and robust NIR calibrations and the necessary steps to be followed and the documents that need to be prepared. As well as special emphasis on interpreting the statistical parameters presented in calibration and validation fact sheets. He will also outline how to leverage the data in feed formulation and how to move one step closer to precision nutrition and increase the efficiency of animal production.

This webinar will broadcast at 9:00 AM CST / 3:00 PM GMT (London) / 11:00 PM CST (Beijing).

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  1. How to assess the quality of reference methods and the labs performing them.
  2. How to determine if the NIR calibration is representative of the sample of interest.
  3. How to understand the expected error of the NIR calibration.
  4. How to Identify outliers and their implications.

This webinar is sponsored by Evonik and presented by WATTPoultry and Feed Strategy.
