Jennifer Ellis is an associate professor of animal systems modeling in the Department of Animal Biosciences at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.
Her research focuses on cross-species animal nutrition modeling, using in vivo, in vitro and in silico approaches. Her research interests lie in how models can be utilized as a valuable tool to increase our understanding of how biological systems work, identify key patterns in data, and act as a bridge to synthesize complex cross-disciplinary data (nutrition, health, genetics and management).
