The active ingredient in Kemin’s CloSTAT has received approval for use in the European Union after a positive assessment by the European Food Safety Authority and approval by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health. CloSTAT is a unique strain of Bacillus subtilis PB6 that has targeted activity against clostridium in the guts of broilers.
