Petrolab Company offers the PetroOXY Rapid Oxidation Stability tester for monitoring oxidation stability of oils, fats, greases, and proprietary antioxidant and shelf life additives. It features a small, hermetically sealed test chamber in which a 5-milliliter sample is combined with oxygen at a high pressure and temperature. The time needed to achieve a fixed pressure drop is directly related to the oxidation stability of the sample.
