SEW-Eurodrive’s W37/W47 Spiroplan right-angle gear units are designed for conveyors in the food and material handling industries, and include a combination of the first-stage helical gearing and second-stage hypoid gearing. Gear units have an aluminum housing, are lubricated for life, light weight, low noise and can be mounted in any orientation (except M4), the company says. Low-gear rations are offered for high output speeds.
