- May be added to tarp-covered ground pile or in a flat storage building
- Works with round or rectangular ground piles that can be covered while or after filling
- Cables consist of jacketed thermocouple temperature sensors without an embedded steel wire rope used in suspension
- Cables are fully supported by the grain mass in which they are embedded
- When unloading the cables are simply cut with a handheld cutter and discarded in the trash
- Amphenol reading plugs on the end of the cables may be saved if cut with a 1-ft [.3m] leadwire tail, returned to Safe-Grain, and used again when you need temporary storage
