Yuan-Tai Hung, Ph.D., is the Institute for Feed Education and Research’s (IFEEDER) senior manager of research, where he leads efforts to advance the foundation’s mission through science-based research and education. He works closely with AFIA and IFEEDER stakeholder groups, along with academic, government, nonprofit and industry partners, to provide technical leadership, secure resources and bring projects to completion. He also plays a critical role in translating research into practical insights and strengthening engagement with stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
Hung earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Tunghai University, followed by a master’s degree in poultry nutrition from National Chung Hsing University. He then completed his Ph.D. in swine nutrition and digestive physiology from the University of Minnesota.
