With a guiding theme of “Intelligence in animal farming,” the 2026 edition of EuroTier will be held November 10-13 in Hanover, Germany.
EuroTier presents important innovations, products and services for the breeding and rearing of farm animals. The focus is on cattle, pigs, poultry and aquaculture – the processing of feed into meat, milk and eggs. Topics and trends, including alternative livestock housing systems, climate and environmental protection, digitalization, processing, refinement and marketing distribution, provide information and inspiration. The core target group of visitors are professional farmers and traders.
The previous edition of EuroTier brought together more than 2,100 exhibitors from 51 countries and 120,000 visitors from nearly 150 countries.
Focus on importance of modern technology
Sustainably increasing productivity is the core interest of professional livestock farmers. Under this year’s theme, EuroTier 2026 combines modern technology with efficiency, productivity and sustainability.
In tough times of increasing economic pressure in highly competitive markets, intelligent technologies are becoming indispensable. They must be able to combine efficiency, productivity, sustainability and animal welfare in competitive systems.
EuroTier 2026 will show how this can be achieved: the foundations for success are barn technology, feeding technology, milking technology, feed collection, manure technology and logistics – enriched, controlled and connected with robotics, sensor technology, artificial intelligence and big data – on digital platforms and with automated systems.
The intelligent linking of these technologies into holistic systems opens new dimensions of optimized and precise control of processes in animal husbandry. This increases process quality, improves animal performance, reduces costs for feed, energy and labor as well as emissions, while improving animal welfare and animal health.
New feature: EuroTier Charity Auction
New to EuroTier this year is the EuroTier Charity Auction, which will be held Friday, November 13. The event will be a hybrid auction live on-site and online. The selected auction lots will be presented online in the run-up to the event. This will allow potential bidders time to find out more and go into the auction fully prepared. The lots will then be auctioned live on the main stage – in front of the EuroTier audience, industry representatives and the media. Bids will support charitable organizations.
