Report: Cargill to cut 80 jobs in Minnesota, more globally

Cargill will cut 80 jobs in Minnesota and an undisclosed number of other employees globally, according to a Reuters report.

The layoffs were aimed at “reducing redundancy in select professional areas,” Cargill told Reuters, adding that they were “not triggered by any business exits and were not tied to replacing human workers with automation or artificial intelligence.”
