CDC: mRNA vaccine shows promise against HPAI

The technology, used to make the initial COVID-19 vaccines, allows for a faster response to viruses that mutate quickly, such as influenza.

The same technology that enabled the initial vaccine campaign against COVID-19 could also aid the fight against highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in multiple species, according to research from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
