When Richmond Silvanus Baye got the opportunity to work on a research project that could affect the sustainability and resilience of food systems, he jumped at the chance.

Baye, a Ph.D. candidate and research assistant in the Social Ecological Gaming and Simulation Lab at the University of Vermont, recently published the results of his team’s analysis of biosecurity attitudes of U.S. swine producers in Scientific Reports.
