British feed company settles on operating hours

After a long-running battle involving local residents and authorities, a North Yorkshire livestock feed firm has agreed to restrictions on vehicle operating hours.

Lawful operating hours have been agreed for heavy goods vehicle movements operating at the feed mill operated by Ian Mosey (Feed) Ltd.

From now on, commercial vehicles can only deliver raw materials to and distribute finished feeds from the facility between certain hours, reports York Mix. These have been set at 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
