European feed producers raise concerns over proposed lysine import tariff

After an investigation into the market for lysine in livestock feeds in Europe, authorities have declared Chinese product is being dumped on the market. A high level of import tariff is proposed, which threatens to damage EU feed and livestock producers.

This month, the European Commission (EC) announced it was imposing a provisional anti-dumping tariff on imports of lysine from the People’s Republic of China.
