Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production announces the hire of Kara Stewart as a technical sales manager on the Passport Food Safety Solutions team. In this role, Stewart will work with the team to bring innovative solutions to customers in the pork and poultry industries.
“Kara is a wonderful addition to our team, and we are excited to put her background in food safety and research to work to advance our team’s efforts in providing products to help customers meet stringent food safety standards,” said Matt Husman, commercial director of the Passport Food Safety Solutions team at Arm & Hammer. “Her previous experience translates smoothly into her new role, where she will lead and identify new opportunities for our team.”
Prior to joining Arm & Hammer, Stewart was a research and development scientist for The TriStrata Group, where she performed research on antimicrobial factors while also reviewing and building food safety management practices. She previously held various positions with Cargill’s food, safety, quality and regulatory group. Stewart holds a degree in animal science from Kansas State University.
