Melinda Miller 90pxMelinda Miller, Safety & Quality Manager for SEMO Milling 

Melinda Miller has been working in the food industry since 2003, and currently serves as the Food Safety & Quality Manager for SEMO Milling. Prior to joining SEMO, Melinda was Quality & Food Safety Manager for Southwind Milling.
Melinda attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she received a Master’s degree in Food Safety and a bachelor’s degree in Food Science. Melinda worked in R&D and Quality roles to start her career before concentrating her efforts on food safety. She then moved into biotechnology for 8 years, managing R&D and validation efforts of rapid test development for foodborne and clinical pathogens.

 

Nancy Zabe Collette 90pxNancy Zabe Collette, Technical Services and Applications Manager, VICAM 

Nancy Collette has over 25 years of experience in the analysis of mycotoxins. As Manager of Technical Services and Applications at VICAM, she has worked with government laboratories, research centers, testing laboratories, and food and animal feed companies worldwide with their mycotoxin testing needs. Nancy has extensive experience with immunoaffinity column and lateral flow test kit technologies. Before coming to VICAM, Nancy worked at Boston University researching human blood platelets and at Ciba Corning Diagnostics with their clinical test kits. Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

 

Patricia Jackson 90pxPatricia Jackson, Marketing Development Manager, VICAM

Patricia Jackson obtained her bachelor of science degree in Biology from Iowa State University and has enjoyed 25-plus years in food safety and quality analysis, with a passion for equipping field, process, and laboratory testing environments for prevention and confirmatory testing. With a diverse background in rapid technologies, Patricia enjoys listening, learning, and communicating fit-for-purpose strategies that serve food and agriculture safety and quality worldwide.
