Dr. Cassandra Jones, Associate Professor in Animal Sciences and Industry, Kansas State University

Cassie Jones 90pxDr. Cassandra Jones is an associate professor at Kansas State University where she serves as the Undergraduate Research Coordinator in its Department of Animal Sciences & Industry. Her research efforts include evaluating the effects of ingredients or feed processing technologies on feed safety and animal nutrition. With her academic experience in animal sciences, nutrition, foreign animal disease and feed manufacturing technology, Jones is a trusted resource to the feed industry. Jones received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science from Kansas State University and her Ph.D. in nutritional sciences from Iowa State University.

Dr. Adam Fahrenholz, Assistant Professor in the Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University

Fahrenholz 90pxDr. Adam Fahrenholz is an Assistant Professor in the Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University.  He coordinates the Feed Milling Program and teaches courses on feed milling technology, quality assurance, and facility and process management. He also oversees the operation of NC State’s Feed Mill Education Unit and its academic, research, and extension missions.  Dr. Fahrenholz coordinates an extension program focusing on industry education, the provision of resources for developing programs associated with regulatory compliance, and addressing continuous quality and process improvement in feed manufacturing facilities.
