Register to learn why transportation is an important step to consider during feed hazard analysis.
This webinar will provide a general overview of feed safety and biosecurity procedures in the feed mill and during transportation. Examine the latest research regarding pathogen transmission and cross-contamination prevention. Featured speakers will include Dr. Cassandra Jones, Associate Professor in Animal Sciences and Industry,
Kansas State, and Dr. Adam Fahrenholz, Associate Professor in Feed Milling, North Carolina State.
This webinar will broadcast at: 9 a.m. CST (Chicago) / 3 p.m. GMT ( London) / 11 p.m. CST (Beijing)
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
- Learn why transportation is an important step to consider during feed hazard analysis.
- Examine the species-specific hazards that feed producers may introduce to the farm via ingredients, feed, the mill, and during transportation.
- Explore the ways biosecurity hazards can be introduced to the feed mill.
- Tips to ensure preventive biosecurity is both forward- and rear-facing.
