Watch on-demand now to learn how to achieve optimum egg production, higher hatch and more resilient chicks.

Early nutrition is important in the modern broiler industry, and new techniques can provide young chickens with a good start. In this webinar, gain insights from Rick Kleyn, Founder of SPESFEED Consulting, and internationally recognized educator, author and consultant for his wide-ranging knowledge of poultry nutrition. The webinar will cover early chicken physiology, the main concepts of early nutrition, changing nutritional requirements and why the diets of young chickens need special attention. Key objectives of modern nutritional strategies also include early development of the immune and gastrointestinal systems. Kleyn will highlight early nutrition as an opportunity to further advance nutritional practices and improve the overall performance and health status of commercial broiler flocks. In the past several years, novel ingredients have been introduced as a nutritional strategy to help support the immune system, promote intestinal integrity and functionality, and increase tolerance to stress and disease challenges – all of which are of interest to the poultry industry.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  1. Early nutrition is important as it impacts future health and performance
  2. Early development of the immune and gastrointestinal systems are key objectives
  3. Young chickens are not simply small adults and need special feeding strategies to reach their genetic potential
  4. Novel nutritional ingredients can play a role in improving chick health and lifetime performance

This webinar is sponsored by APC Inc. and presented by WATTAgNetFeed Strategy and WATT Global Media.
